No, no tomatoes yet. These pictures are from 2011, July.
Ugly things.
Agh... ewwww... those are gross. lol
Nothing is growing for me this year. No tomatos.
That is the reason I don't want to grow tomatoes!! My parents belonged to a coop garden and they must have planted a quarter acre of tomatoes... we had to go out and pick them. Nothing worse than grabbing what looks to be a ripe tomato that collapses in tomato worm mush!
You have tomatoes already?
No, but the topic for today's poem was tomatoes. It's not much of a poem though. I took these pictures in July, 2011.
I was going to say, I just got some tomato plants this afternoon, and it will be well into May before I see some fruit on the plants.
Home-grown tomatoes are the only kind I like.
Wow! Are those worms edible? They look as big as hotdogs!
They are pretty big. I never heard of eating them, but they might be good. They do have a good diet. I've seen Africans eat multi-colored caterpillars that size. I, however, am never going to know.
I don't like those worms either, yuck!!
Tomato's on the other hand, a delectable fruit, that is mistaken for a vegetable.....Love those tomato's!!
