No poem tonight, just a report on my husband's progress. We went to see the surgeon today. He was very happy with what he saw and heard. Hubby is allowed to drive (he's been driving for 2 weeks), and lift whatever he wants to. He also doesn't have to take coumadin anymore. Yay!!!!!!! However, he's on a low fat, low salt, diabetic diet. He does OK with that. He's not a sugar-holic like I am. He also has to continue cardio-therapy 3 times a week.

Here are a few pictures from Easter Sunday of the youngest members of the family.

Here his is with his mom. These two are not the youngest. We just learned that day that he will have a baby brother or sister in early December. Our family keeps growing.

  • Good news abounds! A new baby on the way and your husband's heart is doing well - wonderful Easter news!!

  • It makes the heart sing to hear that a loved one is doing well despite adversity. Blessings to you, your husband and all the family

  • Gracie I know how hubby feels cause I just got the ok to drive and I'm like a teenager again.
    more babies!!!!!

    • I had to laugh at your reply. I knew what you meant, but someone who hadn't read my post might not. No more babies for us (lol), but more babies in the family. So glad to hear you can drive again. It's OK to feel like a teenager, just don't drive like one.

  • It is so nice to have a family that grows. :-) I'm glad your 'Honey' is doing well! May God bless you both with health and strength for a very long time!

I love hearing the cottonwood trees too. Sometimes I've thought it sounded like water running.

  • Such a beautiful family!! And the waiting for a new arrival will keep you on your toes, lol!!

  • Congratulations on the new (future) addition!
