Pets?
Does anyone else remember pet rocks? Several years ago my mother was into making pet rocks. She'd walk around looking at the ground and when she found a rock she liked, she'd pick it up and take it home. She made a pet rock for each of us in the family.

I'm not sure who this rock belonged to.
This was my husband's rock. He told her it looked cold, so she made some jeans for it.
He's kind of cute, don't you think?
Pet rocks have all kinds of advantages. They're practically free. They don't eat much, maybe just a speck of dust now and then. They don't have to go outside or be taken for walks. No litter boxes. They don't even take up much space. I guess you could pet them if you wanted to, but they don't care.
My husband still has his pet rock. It lives in a drawer somewhere. If you ever had a pet rock, I bet you don't still have it. Now all this post needs is a poem about pet rocks, but it's late and I'm too tired to think of one tonight.

Pet rocks, yes, I remember. What an idea! lol Those are very cute.
I have always been a rock collector but I have never considered them pets.
I do remember pet rocks.
Those are cute ones, & a
neat idea for a little
"Thinking of you" gift.
Yes I have a pet rock! It is in my kitchen in on the table (inside a dish out of sight)... It is really a small one and sadly it has never grown. It is still just a baby pet rock! hehehe!
That's another good thing about keeping rocks for pets. When you buy a cute little kitty it grows up into a cat. A cute little puppy might grow up to be huge. With rocks you just choose the size you like and it stays that way.
those were odd but it was a cute thing to do.
I remember the pet rock craze...I never had one, but if I remember right, my oldest daughter did....Whether she still has it, or not, I have no clue....
Cute. They never appealed to me so I never made one. I like the first one a lot!
