Cold!
I am thankful we don't have heat, winds, and fires (especially fires) like the people in Calif. but it is chilly here. We did have a few nice days. Once it even got up to 80. However, tonight it's supposed to be 32. I just went out and covered my potted plants. Hope the peonies make it through. They're already budding. I brought my azalea inside. It might be dead.........I hope not. It was so pretty when hubby gave it to me for Valentine's Day. I'm sure it was force-bloomed. I re-potted it, and just last week put it outside. Here's a picture of what it used to look like.

I don't have a picture of what it looks like now, but it is sad.
I planted my weeping pussy willow outside by our swamp a few weeks ago. Didn't realize it would be so cold. It's too dark and cold to go out and cover it now. Hope everyone else stays warm, but not Too warm.

Beautiful azalea! I hope your plants all weather the cold -- and I hope you don't have the yoyo weather we are having!
Your flowers are beautiful, Gracia. I'm so sorry that you are having to deal with the nasty cold again. Mom told me that it is supposed to get cold like that (32), but on my Weather Bug, it is saying 40...but it is already 41. Hope it stops there!
RYC: I'm glad you liked the pictures. Thank you for your prayers. I’m used to having bronchitis, but Mom isn’t, and she’s almost 90, so I definitely do not like to have her being sick. She is getting better, but still not up to her usual energy level. I’ve never heard of bronchitis being caused by choking on food.
If the food gets in your bronchial tubes it can cause bronchitis. If in your lungs it's pneumonia. She wasn't sick at all, just all of a sudden lost her voice. She had choked on something in her soup during supper that night. She chokes a lot, but usually on liquids. She doesn't want to go for a swallow test. She didn't want to go to the Dr. either but we took her anyway. Glad your mom is feeling better. I think it takes longer when you're older.
Of coure it would be so sad to let frost those gorgeous azalea!
Love

it sure is chilly out, isn't it, with this cold rain! The flower is gorgeous ~
It was only a high in the low 60s yesterday and today's forecast says it won't make it out of the 50s. We are headed back home and I have my fingers crossed that it is dry today so we can have a pleasant drive. Sparky hates to drive in the rain!
it was pretty and I don't think I want to see what it looks like now
On Mother's Day it snowed in Colorado what's left of his family is in Castle Rock there.
We got cold here for a day or two and I had to get my down spread out from the cupboard.
Very pretty. Cold weather is not our problem here.
My gosh, 32 degrees, where are you? I am guessing Ohio? It is shocking that some people are still having such weather halfway through May.
I couldn't grow anything this year either because of the changing temp.'s. it has been a very odd spring.
I love the little azalea. I hope it survives.
Ohio is a good guess. We're in No. Indiana, not far from Ohio.
