Wedding Cancelled.
That's right, the wedding that was planned for July 26 for our youngest son and his fiancee has been cancelled. It was his fault and her decision. I'd better not say any more than that. All of us are heartbroken. They do still love each other, and maybe in the future they will get back together. It seemed like they were a perfect match. It's been a rough couple of days for all of us. We're praying for God's will in the future for both of them. Some of the TX family that were planning to come for the wedding are still coming to visit. That will be good. Our son is flying back to Germany to take care of things (connected with his internship at Bosch) there before flying back home. He will be living and working in Rochester, N.Y. for awhile. Thanks for all of your kind comments saying you were thinking of us and praying for us. It's great to have friends like you all.

Praying all will work out according to God's plans. Sorry to hear the sad news... but glad there is some good news in there too... getting to visit with family members in spite of the cancellation. I pray you are all able to enjoy your visit together. Thoughts and prayers, Lynn

Oh Gracia, this is so sad. She was a lovely girl and perhaps things will work themselves out to the benefit of all. I will pray for both of them. Hugs all around.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear it. It's better that it happens now than once they are married, but still.
I'm so sorry to hear this -- but -- it's better not to marry than to go ahead hoping it will work and then find it ends up in a divorce. If they do get back together later, it will be a stronger marriage!
I measure your pain and I share with you . Those situations are so sad and we cannot do anything excepted to pray.

I am sorry to hear this. My wife dumped me for Marty before we got married, and then wanted me back 4 months later.
I think your wife made a good choice when she wanted you back. You have been a good, faithful husband.

Sadly, our only son went through a divorce recently ... circumstances were not good and it was heartbreaking for him, as it was for both of us, too. Continue to pray for God's will in both their lives ... that is what we are doing here now. We can't change their minds, or make their decisions for them, and we don't know what the future holds right now, but we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him! I'll be praying for you all!
Thank you. I'll pray for your son too. Our youngest daughter was just divorced. She's having a hard time being a single mom to 2 little girls.
