  • I always enjoy having  my TX daughter and her family visit.    She and her daughter took Judy on a few much-needed walks.  Judy is my mother's dog, and Mother gives her Way too many treats.  Judy is quite round, to say the least.  My husband calls her a pot-bellied pig, but he says it in a nice tone of voice so Judy doesn't mind.

My 2 little grand-daughters wanted pedicures, so Aunt M. obliged.

Sorry I don't have an after picture, just during pictures. They were beautiful naturally. Of course, I might be just a wee bit prejudiced. Smile.

  • ahhhh ~ pedicures are soooo fun!

  • I think it was a great time for dog and little girls. It is so much fun to do those things with the young ones.

  • Sounds like everyone including Judy had a spa day of sorts! Sounds like Aunt M. is moving into the coveted "Favorite Aunt" position!!!

    • Aunt M. is definitely the Favorite Aunt. She says it's because she's not here often, and when she is she's on vacation and ca do fun things with the kids.

  • Sweet famial scènes ; So peaceful.

  • A pot bellied pig? So funny. Little pigs are cute too. :-)

Looks like fun for cute little feet. I should hire her. Hope you have a great week and blessings from above.

  • Pedicures are so nice, and relaxing..... Hummmm....I think it's time for me to get one now, lol!!

I'm sure those walks did Judy a world of good...Poor baby!! I know exactly how she feels carrying all that weight around...I, myself carried extra pounds for years, but now that I've gotten into an walking exercises routine, the weights coming off, slowly, but surely....

  • Walking is one of the best and under valued exercises.

  • That looks relaxing!

  • I tell people that the only time that Jesus "worked" was when he gave foot washing to the disciples for spreading the word.

Hmm I wonder what little chores did the granddaughters do to deserve a pedicure? Were they just naturally being cute?

    • I thought I answered your comment, but now don't see it. I don't think the little ones did any chores. They just begged and pleaded. Being cute helped too. Jesus did physical labor probably from the time he was a young teenager until he was 30.

  • Awww... sweet to see the little girlies getting their pretty on! My mom's dog was like that, too. SOOOO round! She couldn't do much without panting, because she was so out of shape. She got very sick, and we had to...uh... send her away... permanently. My mom was so sad, but she is the one who fed her poor doggy to death!
