Words
I was thinking about interesting words today. Some of them I looked up in the dictionary to make sure they were really words. A couple of them I didn't bother looking up. Here's what I came up with. Maybe you will have some others.
hornswoggle...........boondoggle........flibbertigibbet.........swashbuckler..........flotsam & jetsam........periwinkle..... perdiddle........seersucker.......lollapalooza......lollygag........brouhaha.........hoopla..........fiddlefaddle.......floozy.... hogwash............slumgullion.......whippersnapper............whangdoodle.............boondogle.........bamboozle........... wishywashy.
I know some of these need a - in the middle, but I was too lazy to put it in. If I were a mean teacher, I'd assign you the homework of writing a story with these words, but I'm not. Do you have any favorite funny words to share. I don't actually use these words. I just think they sound funny.
I still can't post any new pictures. We had a great visit with my brother and his wife. Talk to you all later.

Haha! That would be quite a story with all those words!
The words I know are very limited. This is way over the top for me.
What fun words. When I read the last one - wishy-washy, I thought of the word washy-washy which a restaurant attendant said to us every time we entered the buffet on our cruise the other year. We had to hold out our hands while she sprayed a cleanser on them.
That makes me smile.......wash-washy.
It seems you've pretty much covered it, except for one, that I say....Dag-nub, which I use when I get mad....Like...."Dag-nub it!!" Sounds better then cussing, don't you think? Lol!!
I've heard that one, but I always though it was dog-nab it. My mother used to say fiddlesticks instead of cussing.
Oops, I meant dagnab it, not dognab it.
I only knew twelve of these words.
How about Dim-wit? I use that a lot.
Dim-wit is a good one. Very descriptive.
One of my favorite words is serendipity. I also like pericope (per rick o pee). They are fun to say!
What is a pericope? I'm guessing it's a noun.
Of your list, I've used all but whangdoodle in a sentence. And now I've used that one!
Congratulations! Very good.
Those words are fun to say. I've said quite a few of them myself. The perdiddle was what someone said you call a car with one headlight burned out and then you got to pinch someone if you said it first.
At first sight I know periwinkle, brouhaha, hoopla...! But for the others , I do not know .
Belated happy birthday to your mother.
Love
