Water for Good.

I hope that you will click on the link above and read about the refugees staying at the airport in Bangui, Central African Republic. Water for Good (formerly known as ICDI), is helping the people by digging latrines. 2 of their workers were recently kidnapped, but praise God. both were released unharmed. However the truck and equipment were kept by the Seleka. It will be a huge expense to replace them, but it will be necessary so the work of repairing and maintaining wells can continue.

I did click on that link. What a very sad state of affairs (& sad, is way too weak of a word choice)! Water for Good is doing such an important work there! Thinking about the stench almost is giving me a headache (certain bad smells do that to me due to allergic reactions). I am sure that health of everyone is very poor living in such conditions! Praying for that work now, as I head off in my nice, warm, clean, odor-free home to fix supper. HUGS!
I keep writing you a reply but they keep getting lost. Thanks for reading and praying.
Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.. It is a desperate situation. I will continue to pray (and give thanks for the safe return of the kidnapped workers)!
thanks so much! It's only because of prayer and God's mercy that the 2 were released and not killed.
This situation is catastrophique and would be able to be worse with a lot of massacres; if we lose control
You are right to focus on this drama .
Love
Michel
Thanks for your comment. You undoubtedly hear more about it in France than people in America do.
Praying for that situation.
Praying for them and all of God's people right now. Seems the world is in chaos but God know and cares and He will take care of His people! That's a comfort to me. Hope you are doing good in this weather too. I guess we find ways to stay busy and bake a few more things, maybe.
Our oven is propane, so I've been trying not to use it too much. So far, today is looking good.
We had a native African in our home that is building wells for communities. The people love it.
There are so many basic needs in Africa it is heart wrenching.
