Help
My Xanga main page is now in Chinese, and I don't know how to change it back to English. Do any of you know?
Just because I have a Chinese son-in-law doesn't mean I speak Chinese, let alone read it. I don't know what I did to make the English disappear.

I don't know which browser you use. I use Google Chrome. I can go to Settings/Display Advanced Settings (at the bottom of the Settings page) and there is an option to change languages. Other browsers most likely have a place to change language. You might have, without knowing it hit a combination of keys that were language shortcut keys. Otherwise I don't know how it would have suddenly changed.
Could also be something Xanga did inadvertently if they are preparing the migration to WordPress. I'm just throwing another wild guess out there.
Oh NO!! No idea how to change it, sorry.
I'm no help either--I cant imagine what this page would look like it Chinese !! Good luck
Wait--at the bottom of this page it says "Language" click it--then click "English" bet that changes it back !!!
Ditto - the language selection button should work!

You probably hit the Xanga Hong Kong (HKG) button accidentally. Go to your main page (not your home page, but the page where the various posts are shown) and on the extreme left hand corner, just under the tool bar you will see the Xanga logo. Right next to it is another sign in small letters, 'visit Xanga HK'. You probably clicked on that sign unknowingly. Go back and click on the Xanga logo which is to the extreme left. It had happened to me once. I too had panicked. Let's know what happens.
Looks like English to me, so you must have done something right!
@Maggietx1 - @murisopsis - Tried that. Didn't work.
@ZSA_MD - You are right. That's what I must have done. I looked and clicked, and finally found a small sign that said "Visit U.S." When I clicked on that it went back to English. Thanks so much!
Glad you got your English back! I also read your post below. We used to have mint plants, and they spread like crazy! I heard if you plant them in a pot, and then bury the pot, they do not spread, but I never tried that! Does chocolate mint really taste like chocolate? Have you ever tried to grow lemon verbena? It smells so nice and lemony! You can use it in some dishes, or just as a garnish.
It must be one of those obstreperous bugs in the system.
Oh no! That does sound funny! I have a lot of pop up issues that are annoying me right now on Xanga. I think it might be a bug on my machine. It's getting so old any old bug can fly in!
@DanishDoll - The chocolate mint smells like chocolate. I don't like it for tea as well as I do the garden mint.
怎么了
Now it is back in English ! Love Michel
